Brushbuddies, or Brushbugs, are a small species of magical creature that inhabits a wide range of places. The first brushbuddy seen was technically at the start of Chapter 1 on one of the colored pages, but the first proper encounter with one in the story, is by Coco in Chapter 4 at Dadah Range. This Brushbuddy later makes numerous appearances in later chapters, and is a permanent resident at Qifrey's Atelier. The second brushbuddy to be introduced in the story is a black brushbuddy that appears in Chapter 52 as Eolio Ezrest's pet.
