Corleo is the main protagonist of the MamaYuyu manga. He is the current Hero of his world, who was born in a time of peace and raised by the Demon Lord Mamama after the death of the previous hero.

Corleo is a kind-hearted, albeit stubborn, boy. Bearing the prestigious title of the Hero comes with it an innate desire and responsibility to help and protect others, but in equal parts an immense amount of pressure to live up to expectations. When we first meet Corleo, he is grappling with a lack of identity and a feeling of being unneeded in a world at peace. He often struggles with self-confidence, even going as far as to question his existence, and is a deeply emotional person, with both his adoptive mother and fellow Hero Elysia describing him as a "crybaby". Despite this, Corleo tries his best to put on a front, often throwing himself headlong into situations, which is where his self-sacrificing nature comes out. Despite his good nature, Corleo can also become angered after witnessing the cruelties that the animosity in Hero-Demon Lord conflicts can bring. This can be seen when Escaba harms Elysia as a means of getting a rise out of Corleo. Another showcase of this is during the time that a revenge-seeking Hero, Ralfred, was attempting to murder his ally, the Demon Lord Minerva. Corleo has a strong sense of justice, which is shown when he gets into a fight with a group of human teenagers who are beating up a demon kid. He even states to Pannelo that his quest for strength isn't to beat someone but to protect people, and not have any regrets due to his inaction in helping others. This desire of Corleo's, to grow stronger, is also in large part due to the regret he feels in not being able to protect Mamama from losing her arm to the Eyeball Dog.
