Kişilik
Saturn was a consummate scientist and tactician, but one whose ethics were shaded by his utter disregard, as a World Noble, for common people. He exhibited the belief that the social hierarchy of the world came from the natural order of life, and that since he stood atop this hierarchy, he was justified to go to any length necessary to achieve his goals. This resulted in Saturn killing scores of people with impunity, which he often justified by claiming that their rebellion went against the natural order and thus necessitated his retaliation. He frequently referred to people as "insects" and regarded individual lives as having little to no value, at most measuring the lives of his subordinates by their capacity as a military asset. If he considered it necessary to achieve the World Government's goals, he did not hesitate to jeopardize the lives of even the government's top agents such as those in CP0, though did prefer outcomes where they remained alive. Because of his disregard for common people, Saturn had no issue with performing inhumane scientific experiments on victims of his choosing in order to further his research. He used Ginny, the enslaved wife of a World Noble, as a test subject in a chemical experiment; when it failed and Ginny not only sustained the deadly Sapphire Scales disease but also passed it on to her daughter Bonney as well, Saturn simply cast them away into the Lower World to die. To ensure that Vegapunk's Pacifista project fully aligned with his vision, Saturn demanded that Bartholomew Kuma's free will and personality be wiped away. Such a request was made even more unscrupulous by the fact that Kuma was only serving in the project in order to cure the Sapphire Scales that Saturn had inflicted on Bonney, which the Elder was fully aware of. Though he informed Kuma of the nature of his Pacifista transformation, Saturn later ordered Vegapunk to secretly install a self-destruct switch in the Warlord. Unlike scientists such as Vegapunk who desired to benefit the world with their scientific breakthroughs, Saturn's research appeared to be focused entirely on increasing the World Government's military capabilities. When Vegapunk tried pleading for him to spare Egghead for the sake of civilizational advancement, Saturn dismissed the importance of "progress" in relation to the world at large. Saturn moved in lockstep with the other Elders in
