Half-Human-Physiology: Being a failed half-ghoul, Kaiko was granted increased physical abilities at the cost of a shortened life span. Ghoul Physiology: After being turned completely into a ghoul from the toxin from Dragon, Kaiko received abilities he lacked as a Half-Human. Unknown kagune: Kaiko's kagune took the form of a tail which could strike opponents from a distance. Superhuman Regeneration: Kaiko showed a great level of regeneration, having his face split by Yusa and easily regenerated it. Swordmanship: Kaiko was a very skilled swordsman, able to keep up with Ghoul Investigators like Take Hirako and Yusa Arima, and often overpowering them during their confrontation. Given how easily he single-handedly defeated Special Class Matsuri Washuu after the latter slaughtered Kaiko's subordinate officers, it is obvious that his skills are far beyond those of his subordinates Owl Quinque: Similar to the one used by Arima during the Third raid on Cochlea, Kaiko had also obtained an Owl Based Quinque made from the Kakuhou of Kuzen shaped into a sword/lance type weapon capable of both mid to close range combat and was also created to shoot powerful Ukaku "feathers" for long wide range fire. Kaiko was known for having used the Quinque against the combined forces of the CCG and Goat during the Dragon Crisis and dispatched numerous ghouls and investigators with the Quinque's powerful abilities. .
