Liebe 「リーベ Rībe」 is a low-ranking devil from the first level of the underworld and resides within Licht's former grimoire, which is currently owned by Asta. He is the source of Asta's Anti Magic.

Liebe harbors a deep hatred for other devils due to the cruel torment he suffered every day of his life in the underworld, even more so after the murder of his foster mother by Lucifero. Liebe mockingly refers to another devil, Zagred, as his senior, while also ridiculing his brethren's loss with a sneer. Liebe desires a physical body connected to the five-leaf clover grimoire. His presence is also intimidating, as individuals, including Asta himself, shudder whenever they sense Liebe. Because of his past and upbringings, Liebe declares all devils are scum with himself being no exception. Despite this claim, Asta points out how Liebe is different from other devils. Asta inferred Liebe's inability to kill him as compassion; a fact proven as Liebe is shown to feel hatred and sadness for others- a characteristic most likely born from the love Liebe received from Richita. He is also capable of gratitude and reciprocation as seen when he declares it is his turn to help Asta achieve his dream, in return for Asta helping him avenge Richita. He has a unique way of laughing: Ge-ge-ge 「ゲゲゲ」.

No Magic Power: Liebe possesses no mana and so is unable to use magic. However, because he possesses no mana, he is able to use Anti Magic without suffering the weakening effects, since he has no magic to drain. Furthermore, because he has no Magic power, he was able to physically pass through the barrier between the living world and the underworld, something that even the most powerful devils on the lowest levels of the Tree of Qliphoth were never able to achieve. Unite: After undergoing the Devil-Binding Ritual, Asta forges a contract with Liebe to share power as equals, and after training for a couple of days, Liebe and Asta learn to Unite, which greatly enhances their Anti Magic abilities. Initially, their union has not been perfected and the transformation only lasts for about 5 minutes. As time elapses, the crossbars of the star on his chest expand into circles, indicating how much time he has left in the form. After the time limit is reached, Asta experiences excruciating full-body pain and must wait 30 minutes before he can use Unite or his black form again. If Liebe and Asta are forced out of Unite prematurely, then they can restart with the leftover time. After Asta learns the details of Liebe's past, the two share the same specific motivation, improving their union and greatly enhancing their Anti Magic abilities.
