Oran was the husband of Roji, the father of Mizuira, the younger brother of Nico Olvia, and the maternal uncle and foster parent of Nico Robin.

Oran was a generally absent father figure for Robin. Although he tried to comfort Robin when her mother sailed and defended her from his wife's abuse, he rarely defied Roji's temper and let her treat Robin as if she were their servant, despite his older sister asked him to take care of her precious daughter.
