Raijin is a ninja and a member of the Beasts Pirates. He previously was a member of the Orochi Oniwabanshu which served the shogun of Wano Country, Kurozumi Orochi.

Like the other members of the Orochi Oniwabanshu, Raijin is loyal to the shogun Orochi and dedicated to his job. However, he is superstitious and can be prone to being scared, as shown when he was confronted by the living skeleton Brook. He remarked how foolish it was for Robin to attempt to sneak through Orochi Castle in the presence of ninja.
