Stansen is a giant from Elbaph and shipwright. A childhood friend of Hajrudin's, they sailed together in their youth.

Befitting a warrior of Elbaph, Stansen is an honorable person, as he thanked Rayleigh for helping him and the other slaves escape. He also offered to help the other slaves get off the island after their collars had been removed. While he was in captivity, he remained calm and sociable. Unlike his captain, Stansen is more reasonable and understands the danger posed by others, while Hajrudin rushes blindly into battle. However, in most situations, they both behave foolishly and end up in comical situations, such as failing to protect themselves from falls and resulting in injuries. Despite the fact that Stansen may be surprised by some of the captain's decisions, he never contradicts them, and is ready to follow Hajrudin anywhere, even on a long journey to find a doctor for his dying mother. During his childhood, he appeared to be cheerful, as he sat watching Hajrudin training with Raideen while happily eating snacks.
