Lamy was a mass-produced Etherious and was a member of the now-disbanded Dark Guild Tartaros, working under Kyôka to help with the Demons' regeneration process.

Lamy is shown to have a very spontaneous personality, and can rapidly switch between emotions, being jovial and hyperactive one moment and deeply serious seconds later. She has a deep interest in men, purposely remodeling her guildmates' bodies so that they are better looking, and also not being past openly fawning over them for their good looks, even getting fixated on men on the enemy's side. In contrast, she has shown little interest in women, in fact she has a certain disdain towards any remotely pretty ones, having not cared about her job of modifying Minerva, and being angry at Mirajane's beautiful face, something she vowed to destroy by modifying her into an ugly caterpillar for seemingly no reason other than sadistic jealousy. At the very least, she only has respect for the women in her guild, such as Kyôka and Seilah. Lamy even took enjoyment of Jackal's torture of Lucy and recommended he blows up her chest for being huge.
